Some Rambling Concerning The Great Toy Robbery

Some recent comments on another blog post of mine inspired me to do this one.

I have decided to put an audio recording of me playing The Great Toy Robbery here. In this recording I got out with all seven keys and also escaped Santa’s rocket-powered death sleigh. The bird sound you hear during the toy phase and again near the end of the Santa phase was the TWBlue sound pack I was using at the time, Magical Fountain, the sound of a tweet coming in.

Note: you can press enter to skip the beginning scene once the game starts and also to skip the thunderous entrance of Santa, which is what I did in this recording.

  2. You have to make such a folder and let Defender know which folder it is. There is an exclude option, easy enough to find once you look around in Defender.

  5. Thanks Charles. George also gave me another way. Settings, window security, windows defender, and turn off realtime virus protection. But I’ll give both ways a try.

  6. Oh, you’ll have to turn off the smart screen blocking thing. I did that using a program called Winaero Tweaker from

    There are all sorts of tweaks you can do in that thing, but be careful. The user account control will come up when you run the program after installing it and just say yes and start looking through all the tweaks.

    Blocking programs is one I did. I also made the classic context menus come up but that’s sort of a mixed blessing.

    Also, once Crazy Party is downloaded you’ll have to have already created a folder that Defender won’t scan. I call my folder Exclusions but you can name it anything, then go into Defender and exclude that folder from scans. That process is quite easy to do.

  9. Thanks. And as I sent to Charles in a Pm, I couldn’t get super eag hunt to download with edge, but maybe I’ll have more luck with crome? And please send me the sounds. Oh, and I can’t play crazey party because Jake Way White sent me only the .exe file, not the zip, so I can’t play the game. Whitch is sad because I redownladed Nvda. And I would love to do a battle mode with either you or Charles if I can get it working. I would love to do it. That’s if charles still plays/ has the game, or if you still have it George.

  10. There is a configuration program on judgment day where you can enter your name in. Speaking about judgment day I have the sounds for it so I can send you these in a private message Landon. Most of the sounds, not all of them.

  22. I got the space bar achievement once and never got it again, so I’m glad I had saved it from another computer.

    Super Egg Hunt is my all-time favorite, even now that I have all the trophies, well, a recording from when I did get them. I lack 2 on this computer to get them all again.

  23. I understand. I like the acheevements too. They are very funny. Also, I got the one where you keep pressing your space bar. I got it while doing the first part of the game. I’ve never played Super eag hunt, the other l-works game you mentioned earlyer in this blog.

  24. No, it’s logical. Just stay away from mister big boots, he-he! It sounds like you’re getting the hang of it. Hey, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. I still get stomped or blown up by that mean old Santa. I still get bonked on the head by the mean elves too. Stuff happens.

  25. @George wu, that’s why I had a hard time avoideing him because he moves so fast. But than again, I did it and made Santa blow up. I think if Santa is on the left move to the right, and if he is on the right side, move to the left. But I could be wrong.

  27. Thanks. Another update, I got all 7 keys and that was better. What was your stratigy for running away from Santa while trying to get 7 keys?

  29. Update. I downloaded the game and gave it a try. I mannaged to get 6 keys somehow. But I didn’t get the last one because Santa was near the key.

  33. You can probably set Chrome not to block things like that but I don’t use Chrome so I wouldn’t know how to tell you to do that, if that is even possible.

    You could try another browser such as Firefox or something.

  34. Yes. I enjoyed it. But I reset my computer, and I tryed to download it again but darn crome blocked it. Thes was when I had my old computer in 2021 running windows 10.

  36. I’ve played this game in 2021. I found it hard to get all 7 keys. I also found it hard to avoid the elfs in the game. I want to call them security elfs because they sound an alarm and chace you down.

  49. I’ve had it done before, and yep, zero points. Oh well, the first, tenth and twenty-fifth times it happens there’s achievements, so there’s that.
