A Gospel Song I recently Did

This song, Ten Thousand Angels Cried, was originally done by LeAnn Rimes when she was fifteen years old. I suppose it’s better played at Easter time. It’s on her You Light up My Life album.

I had an opportunity to do some recording this past Thursday night and I decided to give this song a try. I had originally done the backing track on the Yamaha PSR-3000 back in the day. I have no idea exactly when I did this. Anyway, I made a recording of it on my Yamaha DGX-670 so I could sing behind it. I slapped some reverb on my vocal in Studio Recorder and I’m rather proud of my singing effort, due to my voice having aged right along with me. My low range has never been all that good but what did surprise me this time was how good my high range was on this.

Keep in mind that I’ll be seventy-one later this year.
