Reflections on the Spam of Life

Hi, gentle reader and follower of my blog.

To show you how active my life is at the moment, I’m going to reflect on spam.

Oh, spam, you used to show up in email and be quite interesting. I got some from the FBI, supposedly, except the English language wasn’t the native tongue of the sender, ha ha. I got spam from grieving widows who wanted to send me money, if only I’d tell them some private stuff about my financial institution and the like.

But, now, spam, you’ve become boring and you show up in iMessages, and all I see are posts about mommy, here’s my new phone number. Well, spam, I ain’t your mommy. I get posts about packages I never ordered. Oh how boring you are now, spam. How predictable!

  1. I know that.

Just yesterday I received yet another piece of spam from iMessages, the place I usually get them these days. I happily deleted and reported as junk, supposedly telling Apple and my cell provider about it. What happens to such, no one knows.
