Last Monday, Wife Eva got a new iPhone, an iPhone 13 Pro. She wanted the 1TB version but the Apple store sold her the 512GB one instead, after telling her they had the 1TB model. I will eventually inherit this one, in sierra blue it is. She has ordered the correct one on Amazon, so it’s just a matter of waiting for it to be shipped. This will be between October 29 and November 27.
Monday night I tried and tried helping her with the swipe gesture that replaced the home button on my 6S and her regular 8. I failed and so did she, finally figuring it out swiping down, having turned the phone around. The next morning she learned she could do it both ways, which does need to be done for the control center and notifications. I’m aware of how to do it, having read up on it on Applevis, but so far I’ve had no luck in actually doing it. I’m not prepared to give up, but I know I have quite a learning curve to traverse.
