A Bit about Me

"Just the facts, ma’am." Okay, even though I ain’t a ma’am.

I was born in 1955 in the city of Shreveport, Louisiana. I lived in and around that area for a good part of my life, but later moved eastward to the Monroe/West Monroe area. If someone had told me I’d first live in Wales, (for less than a year), then in Germany, I’d have claimed that someone was crazy. Joke on me, huh. I’m waiting for my permanent residency to be approved, so living on visa renewals at the moment here in Munich.

I’m very happily married! This is my fourth, and last marriage, no matter how it turns out.

I spent a lot of my life looking for work in the music business, finding work on and off in that field and tuning pianos. I thought I might want to rebuild them and went to school for that in Talladega, Alabama, but nothing ever came of the rebuilding part, except that I rebuilt one, with a lot of help from a friend in Shreveport.

I find myself now a has-been musician, a has-been computer programmer, and of course a has-been piano tuner, since I no longer have any tools of that trade.

When I did computer programming, I did it on non-IBM-compatible machines, the Texas Instruments 99/4A and the Radio Shack Color computers 2 and 3. All those machines had BASIC built in so that’s what language I wrote my programs in.

Okay, I think I’ve rambled on long enough about myself.
