I’m over halfway through the second of the two German books that have both audio and Braille. They have been rather disappointing, in that they’re riddled with errors, at least in the first book, in the Braille edition. I even saw a patch of text that was so garbled I didn’t know how to fix. I’d been correcting errors in that edition. Now, in the second book, in the audio edition, I’ve come across a patch of audio taken from a bad CD. I have reported all these things, perhaps in greater detail, to my lending librarian. I’m hoping for a prompt response and perhaps these books will be more thoroughly proofread and the audio edition of level two will be replaced. I actually wonder if any proofreading went into these books at all.

I hope the errors will be fixed at some point.
I received a response from the aforementioned librarian. All that was said so far is that she’ll notify the quality control people, or whatever they’re called.
