After a long and frustratingly fruitless search on BARD, that’s my library site, I finally emailed my librarian to see if there is a Braille German course available. She sent me the book number of the only one they have now. It’s a really old course, the Braille version copyright 1950. I am learning a bit more than I was able to do with audio only. I would even do better with both audio and Braille, but I have what I have. The librarian did put my suggestion to add such material. They have French and Spanish in the works and she suggested they add German, so now it’s wait and see.
I still can’t construct my own sentences unless they’re childishly simple. I really admire people who can learn other languages quickly. I, sadly, haven’t that gift.
I can send the other if you want it.
Oh well, I gues I’ll just stick to french, english, and spanish. But at least as I’m typeing this I all ready have the jurman booklet if I need to go over it. The one that you sent, that is.
German is a hard language to learn.
Agreed. Sorry this is late. Could you teach it to me one day? Whenever you do learn it?
Good luck on your German courses
