Hi! Wow! It has been awhile!
The other day I finally succeeded in logging into the One Drive site and clearing everything out. When I first set up this computer I plunked a lot of stuff in what I thought was My Documents. It turned out to be One Drive My Documents so the darned thang filled up pronto. I got so mad at One Drive I deleted the app, then tried to delete that folder, but it kept deleting files in the real My Documents, so I gave up. Someone told me I could log into the site so, after a struggle, I finally got in using a code. My password is correct but wasn’t being accepted. Yeah, Microsoft does this to keep people from becoming sane. Everything is gone off that stupid site and I won’t be using the app or that site again. I’m relieved that I won’t be receiving any more emails informing me that my One Drive is full, yay!
Today I checked to see if the Audacity audio editor needed to be updated, and I found out that not only did it need updating, there’s also a 64-bit version. I switched to that version, then found out I had to get the Lame and other libraries for this version. The old ones don’t work. So, after digging around on the site I got the old ones from, I found the correct stuff and all is good in my not-so-technical world again. Technically, it is technical, but I’m not, so yeah, figure that one out, hahahahaha!
All is well with One Drive on this computer, and Audacity, well, it’s there, not being used much but I keep it updated just in case I want to mess around with multi track stuff, which I then have to edit in Studio Recorder when I’m finished messing around.
Well, this is exactly why I don’t mess around with settings, even if it’s in something like one drive. But at least, like you said, you don’t have to deal with emails saying your one drive is full! I’ve never used Audasity software.
