I’ve seen that some folks like fireworks. I haven’t been to many fireworks shows but I have a few recordings from when I lived in the states. These are from Monroe, Louisiana, a street on the east side, rather in the suburbs. I’ll just post the first one here. I don’t know if time will permit all of it to play, but here goes.

I’m glad your brother got out of the way in time. I’m sorry about the rocket accedent.
I used to like shooting off bottle rockets. They were fun and mostly safe, except when the rocket came loose from the stick, but that only happened once to my brother and he was able to get out of the way before he got injured. We never tried any others, but I wish I’d tried those blocks that have little missiles shooting out of them. Those just sound so cool! They come in 25 and 100 sizes.
